Chef & Owner Bill Leahy graduated top in his class from the New York Restaurant School. For over four decades, Thistle Catering has held high-quality standards and uses only the freshest, local ingredients.
Catering services are offered throughout the tri-state area (NY, NJ, and CT). Our customers range from small private events to large corporate events. We have provided services throughout Northern and Southern NJ for over four decades.

Buffet Menu
Our highly customizable buffet menu offers hot and cold item selections that are prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Customers typically choose 3 hot items and 2 cold items for their party of 40 guests or more.
Buffet serving set up includes knives, forks, serving spoons, plates, napkins, placemats, salt, and pepper.
Steamed Mussels
Fresh Long Island mussels steamed in homemade marinara and fresh herbs.
Littleneck Clams
Steamed littleneck clams with garlic, white wine, in a lemon butter sauce.
Beef Stroganoff
Cubed sirloin beef with mushrooms in a rich brown gravy.
Italian Sausage, Peppers, & Onions
Pan-fried sweet Italian sausage with sauteed red & green bell peppers, sweet onion.
Sautéed Chicken
Chicken breast lightly sauteed with a choice of Marsala, Piccata or Francaise Sauce
Penne Vodka
Creamy vodka sauce prepared with fresh marinara tossed in penne with basil.
Codfish Oreganata
Broiled Atlantic codfish oreganata topped with fresh diced tomatoes and basil.

Broiled Atlantic codfish topped with lemon pepper, paprika, and garnished with tomato & lemon.
